Hi, I’m Amie!

I’ve always felt a close connection with animals. Through love and respect, patience and paying close attention to behavior and body language, I’ve learned a lot!

For years I worked at an animal shelter. I met and fostered countless animals, learning from every one of them. That education helped me to become an effective and compassionate animal handler and veterinary technician, with a special skill set in building trust and confidence in shy and fearful animals. From an activity that seems as simple to some as walking on a leash, to a process that many could understand as being difficult like a medical procedure or a nail trim.

Along with my passion for the health and happiness of animals and my love of trimming nails, an idea was born. A nail trim didn’t have to be done at the vet! This could be done at home, where pets feel most secure. Even more, nail trims could be transformed from a scary, stressful situation into a special one - full of love, patience and rewards! This is my design, my dream, and my joy!
